Hudson River Sailing
Come enjoy a sail on the beautiful Hudson River aboard the Black Swan, a 36' Catalina sailboat. The sunset sail is a very popular choice among those looking for things to do in the Hudson Valley. The Hudson River Valley is known for its beauty. While sailing on the river you will see the Catskill Mountain range in the distance. We frequently see bald eagles, ducks, blue heron and many other birds. Our sailing charters include a 2-1/2 hour cruise, a day cruise or two-day getaway. Our cruises are limited to six guests and we operate May thru October. We look forward to sharing a good day of sailing with you!
We are excited to partner with Black-Eyed Suzies Upstate of Saugerties to offer you a menu of delicious food for your sail. View our menu for all of the options we have to offer or feel free to bring your own food and drink.
The Hudson River is an estuary which makes it an interesting body of water to sail. It is known as the "river that flows both ways." There are many lighthouses on the Hudson River adding to the natural beauty and interest.
While visiting the Hudson Valley there are so many other outdoor activities to choose from to complete your getaway. Skydiving in Gardiner, rock climbing in New Paltz, ziplining at Hunter Mountain, camping, hiking, swimming, kayaking... the list is endless. Or stay at one of the many Bed and Breakfasts that are in the area. Come visit us and enjoy some time in the sun.
